    This is a material research project, prompting a possibility that fruit peel become an alternative plastic. By processing orange-peel into a collection of jewellery with the aid of technology, the designer critically suggests people to consider the potential value of discarded peels. This project is sponsored by Sainsbury’s, UK.

    戒指的填充部分为加 工材料,底托为3D打印,体现了精准与粗略、可控与不可控之间的对比。

    The filler is processed material while the ring base is 3D-printing, reflecting contrast between the precise and rough, controllable and uncontrollable.

    橘皮被碾碎的细腻程度不同,最终材质的效果也不尽相同。

    The colour and texture of final material differs according to the roughness of the pill.

    戒指的包装由棕色卡纸制作而成,暗示着被肆意丢弃在水果店门前的纸箱。

    The ring packaging, made out of brown paper, is to imply fruit cartons discarded in front of the store.
